Superior - five-star standard. All rooms have en-suite bathroom with bidet and shower over bath, toiletries, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, minibar, safe-deposit box, remote-control colour television with satellite channels. 19 rooms have a balcony.
Deluxe - five-star superior, facilities as standard plus all rooms are larger, all executive rooms have a four-poster bed and 26 rooms have a balcony. Facilities as above plus all rooms have a private terrace.
Mini Suites - facilities as superior plus a lounge area. Four Mini Suites have a terrace and two Mini Suites have a four-poster bed.
Royal Suite - not network bookable / on request only. Facilities as superior, plus separate sitting room, dining room, one WC and a full bathroom with shower room and bath, bathrobe, flowers and a large terrace. Extra cots and beds are available on request. Only one extra bed is allowed per room, by law and only the luxury bedroom can accommodate an extra bed.

Children's Village - a children's playground is always available next to the outdoor swimming pool area, which is free of charge when accompanied by an adult.
Accommodation - free of charge for children below 12 years old if sharing parents room, in deluxe accommodation only. 50% discount if in a separate room, subject to availability. Baby cot free of charge.
Babysitting - individual babysitting service can be requested by the Concierge. In August a babysitter is available at the playground area, six days a week from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Meals - a children's menu is available at the Savoia Restaurant and is charged according to menu ordered. In August, the cost is 50% of the buffet price for four to 12 year olds.
Sports - a swimming and tennis school are available, to be confirmed at the time of booking at least one week in advance. Pool toys are available at the outdoor pool. |
Savoia Restaurant - the father of Italian gastronomy, Luigi Carnacina, was born in the Palazzo. The tradition of his birthplace, the Ciociaria region, which boasts food and wine of extraordinary quality, is still today the inspiration of our menus. Choice is paramount, whether for dining in our elegant candlelit Savoia Restaurant, or for a more 'al fresco' experience next to the pool.

The Grand Hotel is within easy reach of the historic centre of Fiuggi, which is built on the top of a hill. The modern spa area stretches down to the lower slopes amid verdant woods of chestnut trees. There are two thermal centres where Fonte Bonifaccio VIII and Fonte Anticolona water is produced. Boutiques, craft stores, restaurants, pizzerias, pubs and typical local wine bars abound in the town.
Excursions can be made to a variety of destinations to discover a host of ancient Roman towns, abbeys and monasteries, including the monasteries of Subiaco, the Abbey of Casamari, the Abbey of Montecassino and the town of Fumone. In Anagni, the city of Popes, there are magnificent Roman walls and an 11th-century cathedral whose complex structure makes it one of the most interesting examples of Romanesque architecture. The crypt contains priceless 13th-century frescoes. The abbey, Charterhouse of Trisulti, stands in a picturesque and isolated spot and still contains 18th-century furniture in the 'Pharmacy Room'. The Abbey of Fossanova is probably the purest example of Cistercian gothic architecture in Italy.
For those interested in sports there is a modern multi-sports centre, an 18-hole golf course (special rates with the hotel), Italian bowling, tennis courts and a riding school. ISAM, Istituto Sperimantale Auto e Motori, the car testing and inspection site, is also in the area.
