ACCOMMODATION: Beachfront Suites: Beachfront Suites are in a 3-storey building, stand facing directly to the sea and next of to the main swimming pool and the beach. 8 Suites on the ground floor are 86 sq.m. each with direct access to the pool from the terrace while 16 Suites on the first and second floor are 72 sq.m. All have “bath-with-a-view” feature, sun loungers and a dining/writing table on the open air terrace and full fronted sea view. Another bath tub plus a separate shower room is available in the bathroom area. Cottage Suites: Cottage Suites stand among the coconut trees and tropical garden on the hillside looking out over the sea. Nearly all are semi-detached and are built a split-level design. Each Cottage is varied in shape, size that ranges between 68 – 78 sq.m., and location that gives different angles of sea view, some of which can be partial. 12 Cottages are located on the seafront and offer full-fronted sea view. All offer a bath tub on the private terrace. Tongsai Grand Villa: The Tongsai Grand Villas stand on the hillside opposite to where the Cottage Suites stand. They explain how Great Outdoor Living works with large terrace area of 81 sq.m., introducing a Gazebo where guests can sleep on in open-air (mosquito net provided) as well as a bath tub, a pantry-bar area, a dining table and sun loungers; all inviting you to enjoy life in the open. Tongsai Pool Villa: Tongsai Pool Villa are in the same area as the Tongsai Grand Villa but offer partial sea view between palm fringed garden. Apart from the standard facilities featured in the Tongsai Grand Villa, they contribute even more to the Great Outdoor Living idea with a 3 x 5 meters private plunge pool on the extended area of the terrace. Guvnor Villa and Guvnor Pool Villa: 2-adjoining Villa with an extra bedroom in between, with or without a private plunge pool. A Guvnor Villa accommodates up to 8 people with mattresses on the floor.

BAR & RESTAURANT: Dining at The Tongsai Bay is a truly memorable experience. The hotel’s various dining options include a wide variety of cuisines to intrigue even the most discerning of palates and satisfy the heartiest appetites.

Lobby Lounge: Embellished with colorful lanterns from Chiang Mai, the Lobby Lounge’s long-benched terrace beckon guests to recline on fluffy cushions with a drink in hand.

Chef Chom’s Thai Restaurant: Named after Chef Piengchom Dhabanand, a culinary consultant and long-time friend of the Hoontrakul family, Chef Chom’s serves authentic Royal Thai Cuisine in a breezy courtyard surrounded by ponds and picturesque views of the bay. The current recipe is from M.L. Puang Tinnakorn.

Floyd’s Beach Bistro: Set on a secluded beach, this favourite haunt for guests is ideal for a lazy, late lunch or just dawdling with chilled drinks. The evenings are even better with romantic dinners.

The Butler’s Restaurant: Exclusively reserved for lovers of peace and quiet, this small but compelling restaurant seats just 20, serving tasty modern Asian cuisine prepared by Chef Alvin Tan Kin Chee in an intimate atmosphere overlooking a crescent-shaped swimming pool.
Due to the area around the half-moon pool and Butler’s being reserved for peace & quietness – we allow only children 12 years old and over to dine at Butler's.

Sip Internet Cafe: Located right on the beach, Sip is a relaxing place tailor-made for sitting down with a cup of coffee and a piece of home-made cake while you read a book, surf the internet, or just marvel at the exquisite sea view.

SPA: One of the most attractive aspects of The Tongsai Bay is its spa. Set amidst the hotel’s natural green surroundings, Prana Spa provides a selection of therapeutic, healing and restorative treatments, which can help control or decrease stress and thereby lessen susceptibility to stress related ailments.

Many of the spa’s treatment programmes use original recipe created from local ingredients and herbs. One such programme is “Samui Dream”, a package created from a traditional Thai remedy that combines coconut oil and herbs in a way that heals sunburned skin. The spa also provides “The Return to Prana”, an especially romantic package created for couples.

BEACH & POOL: Our Private Beach is by no means small. It is 200 metres long and never gets crowded even when all rooms are fully occupied. You can sunbathe. No beach vendors, no stray dogs, and no passersby. Drinks are available to be served on the beach just raising a small flag as a signal to our staff.

Our main, free form, Fresh water swimming pool is right by the beach next to Floyd's Beach Bistro and the Beachfront Suite Building. It is accompanied by a small Jacuzzi pool and a children's wading pool. Another half moon-shaped swimming pool is above'Sip' InternetCafe in order to serve those who preter peace and quiet. Children under 14 are not allowed in this area.

*Free use of non-motorised water sports: sailing boats (hobie-cats), canoes, windsurf, and snorkeling equipments. Jet skis are banned from our bay.
*Free use of swimming pools (children under 14 years old are not permitted to use the half-moon swimming pool), Jacuzzi pool, children’s wading pool and tennis court (rackets and tennis balls provided at the reception desk).
