Primary domestic gateways to Boracay island are Caticlan Airport and Kalibo Airport, both 55 minutes south of Manila by airplane. Equipped for smaller aircraft, Caticlan airport is a 5-minute trike ride and 15-minute boat ride to Boracay Island. While the journey from Kalibo Airport, where larger planes come and go, comprises a 2-hr bus ride and 15-minute boat ride.
