The West Lake - There is plenty to do at this wonderful scenic lake area. You will find historical and cultural sites, hills and lakes. There are some lovely islands in the middle of the lake, which are well worth a visit. Also take a trip to the Yue Fei Mu, which is a mausoleum-temple at the north side of the lake and Liuhe Ta, the Six harmonies Pagoda. From June to August, you can find beautiful lotus around the lakeside
Museums - In the 1990s, Hangzhou built many museums representing the Chinese culture, these include: the China Silk Museum, China Tea Museum, Hu Qinyu Tang Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum, Liangzhu Culture Museum, and many more.
Hefang Street - Take a walk along this street and check out the unusual bronze statues and the Little Play House, where you take a peek through the little hole and find a Chinese tale showed inside. You will also find the Hu Qingyu Tang, Chinese Traditional Pharmacy - Hefang Street. This is a fascinating place to mooch round.
The Qiantang Tidal Bore - This is a famous sight for viewing the seasonal tide waves, which can be equalled to the sight of Amazon River. The Qiantang Tidal Bore has a history of more than several thousands years, and over the centuries peoples enthusiasm for it remain constant.

West Lake Tea House - Hefang Street. This delightful teahouse serves lovely tea and snacks at quite reasonable prices.
Long Jing (the Dragon Well) Lake -. One of the best places to take tea whilst looking at the surrounding green hills.
Zhi Wei Guan - 83 Renhe Road The lotus root with sweet glutinous rice is very special here but the prices are a bit more expensive than other restaurants.
