International calls run $3.50-$5/min. Many of the hotels and internet shops have international telephones. Many of the internet shops also offer international internet telephone calls for around 500 riel/minute. Telephone stands along the main streets offer domestic handphone calls for 500-600 riel/minute.
Internet access in Sihanoukville is relatively fast and inexpensive, most shops offering access for $1.00-$1.50 per hour. Some places have a minimum charge. There are a few shops in town including Lucky Web opposite Bamboo Light Cafe, and another shop next to Espresso Kampuchea. There is another Lucky Web at Seaview Villa, and yet another on Weather Station Hill where there are a couple of other shops as well. A increasing number of hotels and guesthouses have Internet access for their guests at prices comparable to the Internet shops.

When dialing from outside Cambodia to a Cambodian telephone number, you must use the country code but exclude the '0' at the beginning (e.g. 855-34-000000). When dialing internationally from Cambodia, you must precede the number with '001' or '007'.
