• Planning and development control.
• Town beautification.
• Issue and control on business / commercial / entertainment / trading activities.
• Services, public facilities and utilities such as recreation site / park, playground, fish markets, food stalls, open markets, taxi and bus terminals, etc.
• Managing the vechile parking system.
• House and building assessment.
• Involvement in all official ceremonies within the Belait District.
